Eligibility

• Who Can Enter: Open to all individuals worldwide with a passion for art, technology, and creativity.

• Team Entries: Participants may enter individually or as part of a team. Each team can have up to 3 members.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to enter. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

• Exclusions: Employees of Bubble Studios and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

• Submission Requirements

• Animation Length: Your submission must be at least 1 minute long.

• Theme: Each animation must incorporate the Bot Bot (Secret Bot Society) theme song, creatively interpreting its elements.

• Tools: Submissions must be created using AI-powered animation tools, including any AI-assisted art software.

• Required Submissions:

  • Final Video: Submit your animation in .mp4 or .mov format.

  • Documentation: Include a detailed description of your AI workflow and process, A full and complete protocol must be submitted.

  • Project Files: Provide all raw animation files, AI scripts, and data models used.

Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Rights Transfer: By entering this competition, you agree to assign all rights, title, and interest in your submissions to Bubble Studios.

• Usage: Bubble Studios retains the right to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and adapt your submissions for commercial and promotional purposes.

• Portfolio Rights: While Bubble Studios holds ownership of the submissions, participants may display their work in personal portfolios, provided Bubble Studios is credited as the contest host.

Prizes

• Grand Prize: $1,500 cash prize and an all-expenses-paid trip to Austin, Texas, to meet the founders of Bubble Studios and refine your project.

• Additional Prizes: Honorable mentions and other prizes may be awarded at Bubble Studios' discretion.

Judging Criteria

• Technical (25%): Evaluates the technical proficiency demonstrated in utilizing AI tools and technologies. This includes the complexity of the techniques and the proficiency in executing the technical aspects of the animation.

• Innovation (25%): Focuses on the creativity and originality in the application of AI to animate and bring concepts to life. This criterion assesses how innovatively participants have integrated AI elements into their projects.

• Total for Protocol: 50%: The combined weight of the Technical and Innovation criteria accounts for 50% of the overall evaluation, emphasizing the importance of the methodological and innovative aspects of each submission.

• Visual Art Execution (25%): Assesses the aesthetic quality and visual impact of the animation. This looks at the artistic execution and the visual appeal of the final product.

• Originality and Compliance (25%): Measures the uniqueness of the creative concept along with adherence to the competition guidelines and requirements.

• Total for Artistic Components: 50%: The combined weight of Visual Art Execution and Originality and Compliance criteria accounts for the remaining 50% of the overall score, underlining the significance of artistic and rule-based dimensions of the submissions.

Competition Agreement:
